Art Journaling Vol. 7: Homemade Photo Strips!

Good Evening Everyone!
This week I decided to spread my art journaling horizons to utilize photos in my page this week!
I bought a new printer this past weekend because I have so many photos from the travels and events over the years, yet I haven’t printed any! I wanted to play catch up!
As I was looking through the years of photos on my computer, I came across a folder full of pictures of one of my best friends and me.
I got some unsettling news at work, and she was there to have drinks, listen, and give advice. I decided to make a page about her and my friendship!
I made these photo booth strips on Photoshop! I took a couple of hours because my Photoshop skills are a little rusty. Overall, I had a lot of fun!
I wanted the photos to be the center of attention, so I wanted to keep the overall page simple. I played with patterns and color blocking.
This is also the first time I used Washi tape. I have collected so many over the past months, but this is the first time I’ve used them in one of my pages.
I love the way this page came out. More so, I’m lucky to have such a great friend. Life IS too short to be serious!
I didn’t document how I made the photo strips in Photoshop, but maybe I will in another post. Like I previously said, it’s been a while since I’ve used Photoshop. I’ll take screen shots one day and make a how to!
Happy Journaling!
Talk soon,
