Sailor Moon Crochet Scarf

Guys, I have a confession.
My name is Jennifer, and I’m a Pinterest addict.

Who isn’t these days?! However, I am always trying to dig out of the “pinning hole” and start making the things I pin!

I was going through my “yarn crafts” board, and I stumbled upon this “Sailor Moon Scarf” and decided to make this for a friend for Christmas.

My endeavor first began by knitting this scarf for my friend. Let me tell you, this took FOREVER!

During this time, I also took up crochet with my mom. Fast forward two months. I began doing a lot more crochet projects than knitting. I find crochet goes by much quicker.

I decided to try making this pattern by crocheting. Much success!

Now, be nice – this is my first pattern that I’ve written down! You should see my notebook when I was developing the pattern. Try and decode that!

Pinch the center together and wrap the same color yarn around the center until you have made your bow.

Row 2 – 2 SC in each of the 8 stitches. Sl St to the first crochet. Chain 1.
Row 3 – [1 SC in the first stitch, 2 SC in the next stitch]* Repeat from the astrick (*) until the last stitch. SC in the last stitch. Sl St to the first crochet. Chain 1.

Now show off! I made sailor Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter. Many more to come! I research on Pinterest how to may a crochet heart or star instead of a pendant. I would love to see what you come up with!
