Telegram is a messaging app that offers many features that other apps don’t have. In addition to providing great reliability, it also allows you to access your messages from multiple devices. For example, you can log in from your computer and then open the Telegram app on your phone or tablet.
Store all messages using the IMAP protocol
If you use Telegram on your iPhone(Telegram苹果版), you can use the IMAP protocol to store all your messages. It has several advantages over the default method, including a better interface and support for multiple devices.
First I’ll show you how to set up an account in Thunderbird (the email client I use) using the IMAP settings. Then I’ll show you how to configure it on your iPhone or iPad.
The messages are stored in iCloud
iCloud is a cloud storage service that comes free with every Apple device.
iCloud allows you to back up your messages, so they are always available when you log in on another device.
When you restore an iPhone from a backup, all of the content that was on it when it was backed up will be restored too. This includes contacts, photos, videos, and other data from apps like iMessage and WhatsApp which are stored in iCloud by default.
Recover from iCloud
If you delete a message from your iPhone and want it back, restore it from iCloud.
If you don’t have a backup or don’t know the location of your last iCloud backup file:
Open the telegram app on an iOS device
Go to Settings>Data & Storage>Telegram Backup under Advanced Options.
Tap Restore to restore all of your Telegram data to your iPhone or iPad.
In Telegram, go to Settings –> Chats –> Chats list
In Telegram(电报下载), go to Settings –> Chats –> Chats list.
Select the chat you want to restore from the list of chats.
Tap on a message you want to restore (you can tap on any message in a conversation).
A menu should appear with three dots at the top right corner of your selected message – tap on those dots to reveal more options for that particular message (see screenshot below). One of those options will be “Restore” – that’s what you need!
Then tap on the message that you want to restore
You can also restore messages on your iPhone. To do so, you need to open the Telegram app and tap on the three dots on the top right corner of your screen. Select “Restore” from the menu that pops up, then tap on “Restore” again when it appears in a pop-up window.
Once you’ve done that, select which backup file you want to restore from. That’s it!
Follow the steps in the guide.
Go to Settings
Then Chat & Privacy
Then Chats List
Tap on the message which you want to restore
Tap on the message again
By the way, one last word
